Ralla’s team has been strengthened with two new experts. Anu Lamminen and Anniina Berg will bring their expertise to Ralla’s new projects, internationalization and early childhood education, inclusive everyday life and cooperative rehabilitation training.
Changes in the team
Changes took place at RALLA in the summer of 2023, as new experts joined the team. At the same time, our founder Tiina Lautamo entered into well-deserved retirement after eight years at RALLA. Until now, we have operated mainly with the help of three academic women, developing an expert, research and training company for supporting play and peer activities, in addition to our other tasks. We have worked long-term, strengthening each other, with uncompromising trust and great enthusiasm. We are proud of RALLA and the achievements of our collaboration. Welcome Anu and Anniina to strengthen with us the opportunities for children and young people to experience success in their peer world.

Expertise in educational leadership, multidisciplinary teams, early childhood special education, and strengthening children’s socio-emotional skills
Anu Lamminen brings extensive experience as an early childhood education teacher, special education teacher and various expert positions. She has worked, among others, in the University of Turku’s RINNALLA project (OPH 2019-2020), where she has developed art- and narrative-based working methods in children’s groups and acted as a mentor for early childhood education staff from the perspective of strengthening working methods and children’s socio-emotional skills. Anu has produced content for, among other things, art-based working methods, immersive reading moments and family reading. She currently works as an early childhood education special education teacher and has developed, among other things, a general support menu as an observation and assessment tool for early childhood education staff in her work. She has a Master’s degree in Education, pedagogical qualification, an early childhood education teacher’s degree and an early childhood education special education teacher’s degree. Anu has experienced that with the RALLA application, early childhood education professionals have been able to easily analyze everyday observations about a child’s play and friendship skills, and the ready-made reports have facilitated pedagogical documentation.
Anniina Berg (VO, KM) has solid experience in early childhood education and preschool pedagogy. Anniina has worked for a long time as an early childhood education teacher with different ages, but especially with 5- and 6-year-olds. In recent years, she has taught both future early childhood education teachers and social workers at universities and polytechnics. Through her work, Anniina has been able to familiarize herself with the core competencies of almost all professionals working in early childhood education and thereby see how enormous the competence potential is in early childhood education teams. By harnessing the solid competence and multidisciplinary expertise of the entire team, ways can be found to create a good and functional everyday life for every child and adult. Team leadership also plays a major role in identifying and utilizing these competencies for the use of the work community. In addition to training adults, Anniina also works as a textbook author and is thus contributing to the everyday work with children and high-quality pedagogy.

A high-quality foundation for learning is created when researched information can be utilized in practical work. That is why we together utilize research information, practical application, the expertise of experts, and the positive power of teams to support children and young people and identify competence.
