The new school year has gotten off to a fast start, and the use of Ralla continues to grow nationwide. Currently, the Ralla observation tool is in use in Finland\u2019s six largest municipalities, as well as in numerous other municipalities, educational institutions, colleges, and organizations in the field throughout Finland. Ralla supports the learning of students in the fields of education and social services, collaboration with the workforce, and the development of skills to meet the needs of both educational institutions and employers. <\/p>\n\n
Research-based Ralla observation is widely used in education, social work, and rehabilitation training. An increasing number of future professionals are practicing child observation, documentation, and pedagogical planning using Ralla during their studies. Becoming familiar with the tool during their studies supports the development of professional skills and facilitates the transition to the workforce. <\/p>\n\n
In addition to educational institutions, Ralla is used in various organizations, such as daycare centers, occupational therapy settings, and other services for children and families. Ralla supports professionals\u2019 work by providing a systematic and child-centered approach to observing a child\u2019s development, strengths, and daily activities. At the same time, it helps facilitate child observation and pedagogical documentation in accordance with the guidelines for early childhood education plans. <\/p>\n\n
Throughout the fall, Ralla\u2019s user network will continue to grow as new municipalities, educational institutions, and organizations join.<\/p>\n\n
